Oil technology has improved immensely over the years, but we have a return to the old style of burnishing the oil into the timber.
Merely painting the Oil on the timber doesn't bring out the full protective properties of the Oil.
We use old school methods to heat up the oil and burnish it into the timber for an amaizing finish that offers far greater protection than just rolling the oil on.
Natural Oil is a far superior look to water based coatings. Water based can cause several problems such as bleaching your timber or tanin bleed. Neither are a good look.
This does not happen with a natural Oil.
Many water based coatings are not fully Non Toxic. Whilst they do have a non toxic one, it is very soft and not durable, whereas the more durable ones can contain toxic additives which defeats the purpose.
It does however require some maintanence which is easily taught, or we are happy to do it for you.
The look is amaizing. For those that don't like the Glass shine of Two-Pack Polyurethane, and want more of a raw timber look, then Oil may be for you.
